Abstract

Two one-page letters dated June 6, 1768 and February 29, 1804, both written by Samuel Stringer from Albany, New York. The 1768 letter to Jelles Fonda at Cachnewagie discusses a fur trade deal. The slightly torn 1804 letter to an unknown recipient discusses New York State politics.
